Zac Kwong is currently pursuing a B.Sc in electrical engineering (nanotechnology option) at the University of Alberta. He is an executive member of the University of Alberta EcoCar team, which designs and builds hydrogen fuel cell vehicles that compete in the Shell Eco-marathon. As a manager of the EcoCar electrical team, he performs circuit design, PCB layout, and extensive testing of the car’s auxiliary, power, and safety systems. He is also working on coding the team’s custom fuel cell controller using the Mbed RTOS library. In his spare time, Zac enjoys backpacking, long-distance running, and working on high-temperature analog electronics.
